The death has occurred of Bernie Casey
Threadneedle Road, Salthill, Galway / Kerry

Formerly of the Black Valley, Co. Kerry. In the loving care of his family at home. Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Mary who died very recently and by his brothers Michael, Jack and Donal. Deeply mourned by his loving children Michelle, John and Yvonne, his sister Peg and brothers Ted and Padraig, son-in-law Finbarr, daughter-in-law Vicky, adored grandchildren, carers, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

In an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19 all funeral arrangements will take place privately for a limited number of 25 people. Requiem Mass at 11am on Friday, 27th November, at the Church of Christ the King, Salthill. Funeral after Mass to Rahoon Cemetery.

Phyllis Fahy (nee Geraghty) R.I.P.

The death has occurred of Phyllis Fahy (née Geraghty)

Upper Salthill, Salthill, Galway / Palmerstown, Dublin

Upper Salthill, Galway and formerly of Palmerstown, Co. Dublin and Phibsborough, Dublin 7. Predeceased by her husband Tadhg. Dearly loved mother of Jeanette, John, Vera, and Fran. Sadly missed by her loving family, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters Joan and Pauline, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

In accordance with Government guidelines and to keep our friends and family safe, Phyllis’ Funeral will take place privately at 12 noon on Thursday, 26th November, at the Church of Christ the King, Salthill, followed by a private burial in The New Cemetery, Bohermore.

Anna Rodgers R.I.P.

The death has occurred of Anna Rodgers
Cartur Mór, Knocknacarra, Galway / Salthill, Galway

Formerly “Spring Lodge”, Lower Salthill. Suddenly, in Clonmel. Anna will be missed and forever loved by her daughter Joyce and by Joyce’s father Gerry, by her sister Mary and her family, her aunt Mary, the extended Rodgers and Dungan families and friends in particular Vincent (Clonmel).

A private Requiem Mass restricted to 25 people will be celebrated on Tuesday, 17th November at 11 a.m. at the Church of Christ the King, Salthill. This Mass will be live-streamed and may be viewed on the following link http://www.salthillparish.ie/our-parish/webcam/

Funeral after Mass to Rakerin Cemetery, Kilbeacanty where Anna will be laid to rest with her parents Tess and Connie.

Formerly Kanturk, Co. Cork and Retired An Garda Siochana. Peacefully, at home, in the loving care of his family. Beloved husband of Joan and much-loved father of Sinead, Marie and Edel. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his wife and daughters, his sister Treasa, brothers Amhlaobh, Tadhg and Seán, sons-in-law Craig, Glenn and Morgan, his adored grandchildren Ella, Oisin, Oliver, Alice, Nate, Maeve, Laura and Isabel, the extended Lynch and Moran family, neighbours and friends.

A private Requiem Mass for Bert will be celebrated on this Thursday, 12th November, at 11am at the Church of Christ the King, Salthill. Funeral after Mass to Rahoon Cemetery. The Mass will be live-streamed as the attendees at the Church and the cemetery are restricted to 25 in accordance with current governmental guidelines.

Paul Duffy R.I.P.

The death has occurred of Paul Duffy
Rockbarton North, Salthill, Galway / Athlone, Westmeath

Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family after a long illness bravely borne. Predeceased by his parents John and Eileen. Beloved husband of Mary, loving father to his children Eileen, Richael, Paul and Eimear, father-in-law to Declan, Kevin, Julie and Marie and adoring grandfather of Marcus, Isabelle, Sarah, Mealla and Aidan. Sadly missed by his wife and children, brother Joe, brothers-in-law Pat and John, sisters-in-law Geraldine, Maureen, Ann and Eileen, nephews and nieces, cousins, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Requiem Mass for Paul will be celebrated at 11.30 a.m. on Wednesday, 4th November, at Christ the King Church, Salthill. Funeral after Mass to Rahoon Cemetery.

In an effort to reduce the spread of Covid-19 this Mass will take place privately but may be viewed live by going to the Salthill Parish webcam.
