Forster Park, Dalysfort Road, Salthill, Galway and formerly of Moycullen, Co. Galway. 24th February 2021, at home in the loving care of her family. Beloved wife of Mike and dearly loved mother of Michael, Eoghan and Sinéad. Sadly, missed by her heartbroken family, her granddaughter Erica, daughter-in-law Ciara, brother John, extended family, neighbours and friends.

A private Funeral Mass will take place in Christ the King Church, Salthill on Friday, 26th February. Burial after Mass in Rahoon Cemetery. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral but cannot do so, are invited to leave a personal message in the condolence section below. This will be greatly appreciated by the family who would like to thank you for your sympathy and support at this difficult time.

Family flowers only, by request, donations, if desired, to the Galway Hospice or the Irish Cancer Society.

Ballymoneen Road, Knocknacarra, Galway / Midleton, Cork

(Formerly Midleton and Little Island, Cork), peacefully at University Hospital Galway, beloved husband of Sandra; deeply mourned and sadly missed by his wife, brothers Patrick and David, sisters Kathleen, Breda and Phil, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, especially his god – daughter Ayla, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

A private family funeral will take place at the Church of Christ the King, Salthill at 12 noon on Thursday, 25th February. Funeral after Mass to Rahoon Cemetery. Attendance at the Church and cemetery will be limited to 10 people. Chris’s family would like to thank you for your understanding and support at this very difficult time. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Galway Hospice.

Bridie O’ Connell R.I.P.

Bridget (Bridie) O’Connell (née McNamara)
Salthill, Galway / Renmore, Galway / Kilrush, Clar

Formerly Renmore Park and Ballykett, Kilrush, Co. Clare. Bridie passed away peacefully in the care of the staff of St. Gerard’s Ward, University College Hospital, Galway. Predeceased by her beloved husband Michael, brothers John, Michael and her sister Mary. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her sons Brian, Kieran, Seán and her daughter Kelly (Mary), son-in-law Michael, daughters-in-law JoAnne, Gráinne and Marcella, gran children Michael, John, Tomás, Shane, Ava, Ronan, Leah and Emma, niece and nephews, her dearest friend Alma, the extended family and friends.

A private family funeral will take place in accordance with current government and HSE guidelines. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Bridie on Thursday, 11th February at 12 noon at the Church of Christ the King, Salthill.
