Bridie GILL, (née Conneely)
Oaklands, Salthill, Galway

(peacefully) at the Galway Hospice surrounded by her loving family; beloved wife of the late Padraic and much loved mother of Kevin, Mary, Pat, Ronan, John, Clare, Colette, the late Anne and ‘Mamó’ to the late Caroline. Sadly missed by her daughters and sons, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, her adored grandchildren and great-granddaughter, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, extended family and friends. Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue on Sunday 28th January, 2018 from 2 p.m. with Removal at 4 p.m. to the Church of Christ the King, Salthill. Funeral after 10 a.m. Requiem Mass on Monday, 29th January to Rahoon cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to the Galway Hospice.

Geraldine McBride R.I.P.

Geraldine MCBRIDE (née Brennan)
22 Burrenview Heights, Knocknacarra Road, Salthill, Galway / Lifford, Donegal / Strabane, Tyrone / Limerick

Geraldine Passed away peacefully on the 20th January 2018, surrounded by her loving family at University Hospital Galway following a short illness. Beloved wife and best friend of Martin and loving mother of Denise, Catherine, Linda, Brenda, Paula and Julie. She will be very sadly missed by her husband, her daughters and their spouses Alan, Peter, Martin, Mike and Paul, her grandchildren Ellie, Evan, Harry, Rachel, Leah, Ethan, Lauren, Jack, mother Rachael, sisters Rosemary and Gabrielle, brother Andrew, her extended family, neighbours and her many friends. She is predeceased by her father Joseph Brennan and her brother John Brennan

Reposing at the family home, 22 Burrenview Heights, Knocknacarra Road, Salthill on Wednesday 24th January from 4.00pm, with Prayers at 7.00pm. Private removal to the Church of Christ the King, Salthill for Requiem Mass on Thursday 25th January at 11.00am, with burial afterwards in Rahoon Cemetery.

John GEANEY
Rockbarton Green, Salthill, Galway / Aghabullogue, Cork

(Ex A.I.B. Bank), peacefully in the tender care of the Galway Hospice. Beloved husband of the late Marie, much loved father of Marian, Declan, John, Tom and partner to Eileen. Sadly missed by his daughter, sons, partner, brothers Olan and Pat, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, his adored grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Reposing at his home on Monday 22nd January from 4.00 p.m. with prayers at 7.30 p.m. Removal on Tuesday 23rd January to the Church of Christ the King, Salthill to arrive for Requiem Mass at 11.00 a.m. Funeral after Mass to Rahoon Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Galway Parkinson’s Association or Galway Hospice.

Noreen Bourke late  of Devon Park, Salthill, Galway / Boherbue, Cork

Beloved wife of the late Ronnie and loving sister of the late Eileen. Sadly missed by her sister Joan, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Reposing at the O’ Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway on Wednesday 17th January from 5.00 p.m. with Removal at 6.00 p.m. to Christ the King Church, Salthill. Funeral after 11.00 a.m. Requiem Mass on Thursday 18th January to the New Cemetery, Bohermore.

Kate Davison (formerly London and Ballyhaunis), predeceased by her husband Michael. Sadly missed by her sisters Ellen and Bernadette, brother Tony, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Arriving at the Church of Christ the King, Salthill on Friday 5th January for Requiem Mass at 11.00 a.m. Funeral after Mass to the New Cemetery, Bohermore.
