Kevin Murphy R.I.P.

The death has occurred of Maj. Gen. F. K. (Kevin) Murphy (Retired)
Salthill, Galway / Newbridge, Kildare

Unexpectedly and peacefully; beloved husband of the late Thérèse and much loved and cherished father of Conal (Tuam), Kevin Jnr. (Greystones) and the late Aonghus.

He will be very sadly missed by his sons, daughters-in-law Ann and Mary, his grandchildren Niall, Ailbhe and Eoghan, nieces, nephews, good neighbours, friends and army colleagues. Requiescat in pace.

Reposing at St. Patrick’s Garrison Church, Renmore Barracks on Wednesday, 31st July from 6.00pm to 7.30pm.

Requiem Mass in the Church of Christ the King, Salthill on Thursday 1st August at 12 noon. Funeral after Mass to the new cemetery, Bohermore.

Bernadette Mulligan (née Salmon) R.I.P

(Peacefully) at Áras Chois Fharraige, Spiddal, beloved wife of the late John T. and much loved mother of Cyril, Frank, Brendan, Noel, Clare (Nerney), Bernadette, Eugene, Anne Martina and the late Seamus. Dearly missed by her children, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives and friends. Rest in peace. Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway on Monday 22nd July from 4.00 p.m. with Removal at 6.00 p.m. to Christ the King Church, Salthill. Funeral after 11.00 a.m. Requiem Mass on Tuesday 23rd July to Rahoon Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Kitty (Kay) Griffin (née Walsh)
Glenard Crescent, Salthill, Galway / Moycullen, Galway

(Formerly Lealetter, Moycullen), (peacefully) at home, beloved wife of the late Fergus. Sadly missed by her sister Teresa, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway on Monday 1st July from 4.30 p.m. with Removal at 6.00 p.m. to Christ the King Church, Salthill. Funeral after 11.00 a.m. Requiem Mass on Tuesday 2nd July to the New Cemetery, Bohermore. No Flowers please. Donations if desired to Galway Hospice.

( Formerly Fanny O’Dea’s, Lissycasey), (peacefully) at the Galway Hospice, beloved wife of Des and much loved mother of Linda, Maria, Kenneth, Cynthia and David. Sadly missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, brother, sister, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, relatives and friends. Reposing at the O’ Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway on Wednesday 3rd July from 5.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. Removal on Thursday 4th July to Christ the King Church, Salthill to arrive for Requiem, Mass at 11.00 a.m. Private cremation to follow. No flowers by request.
